Junior Golf Academy Full Time StudentAs a Junior Golf Academy Full Time Student, you will live in a luxury town home located next to the St. John’s Country Club community.  The town homes are fully equipped with wireless Internet access, cable television, a washer and dryer, large bedrooms, and a live-in Residential Coordinator.  Each student has a full-size bed, and a desk for studying.  Located in the community are ping-pong tables, basketball hoops, a full size swimming pool, a recreation area and a clubhouse.

 

Away from the golf course, students are welcome to experience Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Jacksonville Jaguar NFL games, AAA Baseball Jacksonville Suns games, access to numerous beaches, PGA Tour Events such as the prestigious Players Championship, shopping malls, movie theatres and much more!

 

By attending one of our Summer, Winter, Spring or Full-Year programs, students experience the best instruction in the golf industry.  Our students win tournaments, get into top universities on golf scholarships and most importantly, do what they love.

 

Both Tom Burnett Golf Academies are located in Northeast Florida providing an ideal year-round climate, access to major international airports, use of championship golf courses, and access to many others.  Our academies are just minutes away from the World Golf Village Hall of Fame and The Players Championship tournament facilities.  Jacksonville, Florida has a lot to offer students of any age.

Along with developing top-notch golfers, TBGA partners with two of North Florida’s most prestigious private schools. Developing scholarship and leadership is a goal equal to training championship golfers.

Arlington Country Day School
Arlington Country Day School is a private, non-sectarian, co-educational, college preparatory school offering classes from Kindergarten through 12th grade. International Students

Any international student interested in attending TBGA must obtain an F-1 Student Visa to become eligible to attend school in the United States.  The process for attaining this is as follows:

  • Obtain an I-20 form from the school that the student will attend.
  • Fill out the I-20 form and contact a US Consulate or Embassy to request the F-1 Student Visa and set up an appointment to submit the application.
  • Pay the SEVIS I-901 fee before meeting with the U.S. Consulate or Embassy.  This fee can be paid online at www.fmjfee.com.
  • Fill out any other supporting F-1 Visa documents required from the U.S. Consulate or Embassy for the country the student is traveling from.
  • Make sure the student has his/her passport and I-20/F-1 Student Visa forms when he/she travels.  This documentation should be kept with the student at all times.
